Palestinian activist Muna Al-Kurd arrested
The Israeli occupation forces arrest the Kurd siblings to silence the voice of Sheikh Jarrah as part of their plan to Judaize Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Today, Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Palestinian activist Muna Al-Kurd, from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), as part of silencing Sheikh Jarrah's voice to control it and forcibly expel its residents, according to eyewitnesses.
The occupation forces had suppressed participants that were standing in solidarity with the residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, which is threatened with eviction, and fired sound and gas bombs at the demonstrators who chanted slogans condemning the occupation policies and calling on the international community to take action to stop the displacement of residents of Al-Quds.

Last week, the occupation forces followed through with multiple arrests in the neighborhood, including Baraa Al-Salaymeh, who was later released, and a young man from Sheikh Jarrah who was severely beaten before getting arrested.
The attacks also targeted many areas in Jerusalem, such as Al-Isawiya and Al-Rasheed Street, and several settlers attacked the residents in an attempt to seize their land.
It should be noted that the Israeli occupation forces closed the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood with cement cubes on the 7th of last May, and settlers stormed the Bab al-Rahma cemetery adjacent to Al-Aqsa Mosque, while the West Bank witnessed numerous confrontations between the Palestinians and the occupation forces.
