The military spokesman for the "Al-Qassam Brigades" Abu Obeida said, in his first statement following the aggression on Gaza, "We are following up with the resistance leadership about what is happening in Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Abu Obeida pointed out, in a statement, that what is happening in Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa are provocative and aggressive attempts by the oppressors and their leaders.

He also warned against harming Al-Aqsa, adding, "We salute the "Al-Mourabitoun" in Jerusalem (Al-Quds) for their resistance against the desecration of Al-Aqsa and the aggression against it."
