Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, and the Sultanate of Oman participated using units of their air forces. Kuwait and Bahrain partook as observers.
The countries carried out maneuvers and military operations during the exercise in the framework of the exchange of experiences between the joint forces.

SPA, the Saudi Press Agency, reported that several Arab countries participated in the military exercise that lasted for two weeks, where many maneuvers and military operations were carried out, and various technical, operational, and air lectures and seminars were conducted, with the aim of exchanging experiences between the participating forces.
Major General Pilot Mohsen Al-Zahrani stated that the Tuwaiq 2 exercises were successful, highlighting that they achieved all the tactical, strategic, and operational objectives of the exercise. He thanked all the Arab countries that participated in the exercises and the participants and supporters of the Royal Saudi Air Force.
