"Music Among The Rubbles": Gaza Celebrates Life
The city of Gaza witnessed Sunday an artistic concert held over the ruins of the destroyed Al-Shorouk Tower. Several artists participated in the context of strengthening the role of resistance art, one of the pillars of the confrontation with the Israeli occupation.
The show, organized by the Positive Energy Center under the auspices of the Palestinian Ministry of Culture in Gaza, was titled "Music among the Rubbles."

The concert expressed the steadfastness of Gaza and its people in the face of the siege, depicting a joyful scenery despite the sight of the surrounding destruction.
On the ruins of the destroyed Al-Shorouk Tower, the voice of Palestinian artist Raouf Al-Balbisi rose with a number of Palestinian national songs and anthems accompanied by his musical group.

Tahrir Murtaja, director of the Positive Energy Center, said: "The concert is a message to the world that besieged Gaza, which has suffered years of repeated aggressions, still springs with hope and loves life."
The concert boasted national Palestinian and heritage songs, whilst the audience responded with enthusiastic songs, national anthems, and raised Palestinian flags.
The situation in the Palestinian territories exploded on April 13, as a result of attacks committed by the occupation police and settlers in Al-Aqsa Mosque and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds), in an attempt to vacate the homes and hand them over to settlers.
The Israeli aggression extended over to Gaza, conducting air, land, and sea bombardments, resulting in the death of 254 people, including 66 children, 39 women, and 17 elderly people, in addition to 1948 injuries, according to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
A ceasefire took effect between the Palestinian resistance factions and "Israel", after 11 days of Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, home to more than two million Palestinians.
