Israeli Settlers Retreat from Jabal Sbeih
After two months of Palestinian demonstrations and confrontations, the Israeli occupation decided to evacuate the settlement outpost in Jabal Sbeih in Nablus, under the pretext of "studying the ownership of the land."
Israeli media reported the evacuation of the "Evyatar" settlement point established by the Israeli occupation in Jabal Sbeih, south of Nablus.
The Israeli media stated that the evacuation came "as a result of the settlement agreement," noting that "hundreds of Palestinians threw stones at Israeli Occupation Forces near the outpost."
And Israeli media revealed that "the state will begin examining the status of the land on which the outpost was built. When the residents leave, the Israeli Occupation Forces will reinforce the outpost until the end of the land survey process."

The Israeli channel "i24news" justified the evacuation of the outpost "in compliance with the agreement signed with the government of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett."
According to the same channel, "under the terms of the deal published by the Israeli government on Thursday, settlers were forced to leave the outpost on Friday afternoon and the last cars were driving out of "Evyatar" according to the 4:00 p.m. GMT."
It quoted one of the settlers as saying before he left, "We'll be back here very soon. We can build a big house."
The Israeli channel added that "a final settlement agreement was reached with the residents of Eviatar, according to which the residents will leave the existing homes in the outpost until the end of the week," explaining that "the process of settling the outpost will take place after the completion of the process of studying the ownership of the land on which it is built."
A Palestinian Tale of Endurance
For weeks, the Palestinians demonstrated and confronted the occupation forces. Jabal Sbeih, and the town of Beita in particular, witnessed daily clashes between Palestinian youths and the occupation soldiers who tried to defend the settlers until they forced the occupation to evacuate the settlement.
After the settlers left, the Palestinian youths went to the settlement and dismantled the "Star of David" model that had been poured into the former settlement outpost.
Yesterday night, after the occupation announced the evacuation of the settlement, Palestinian youths toured with torches to celebrate their victory.
It is noteworthy that the Palestinian protests during the past two months resulted in the martyrdom of 4 Palestinians and hundreds of wounded by the Israeli occupation bullets.
