The demonstration was organized on the 4th of July, the United States independence anniversary, condemning the ongoing military support for "Israel", according to Al-Mayadeen's correspondent.
In the same context, tens of thousands of people demonstrated in Britain weeks ago to demand an end to the Israeli aggression on Palestinian territories, standing in solidarity with the people of Gaza, during the "Sword of Jerusalem" battle.
The Guardian newspaper reported on the demonstration, saying it could be "one of the largest pro-Palestine demonstrations" in British history.
