Syrian President Bashar al-Assad wishes the elected Iranian President success in the leadership of the Iranian Republic, and further progress and prosperity in all the accomplishments the Republic has achieved so far.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad congratulated Iranian President-elect Ebrahim Raisi on his victory in the presidential elections via a phone call.
President al-Assad wished the President-elect success in leading the Islamic Republic of Iran towards further progress and more achievements in all fields.
The two sides stressed their keenness and determination to continue working together to enhance all forms of bilateral cooperation in all fields and to continue consultation and coordination on issues of common concern.
Moreover, King of Jordan Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein also congratulated the elected Iranian President, last Monday.
The President-elect received congratulatory messages from presidents and officials around the world calling on him to consolidate relations and develop bilateral cooperation.
Raisi had won the presidential elections that took place on July 18, with 61.95% of the electoral votes. Following his victory, he stressed that he will spare no effort to earn the respect of the Iranian people who selected him from among four candidates.
