Formula 1 World Championship organizers announced on Tuesday the cancellation of the Australian Grand Prix for the second year in a row, but assured that there would be a 23-race season.

The race was to be held on November 21st, 2021, but the organizers had to face several obstacles concerning the procedures Australia has put in place for newcomers, requiring them to quarantine for 14 days.

In addition, the MotoGP Grand Prix was canceled in Australia, and the International Motorcycling Association announced that the cancellation and changes will be made to the international schedule.
