Former Jordanian MP Tarek Khoury revealed to Al Mayadeen that "Jared Kushner, Mohammed bin Salman, and Benjamin Netanyahu are behind the civil unrest in Jordan."

The role of Saudi Arabia in Jordan is clear for Oman and Washington, as tremor in Jordan boils over the past several years.

He affirmed that "Oman has information on Saudi's role in sedition, and not revealing it may have political motives."

According to Khoury, Oman decided to "expand its political and economic alternatives through openness to Iran and Syria."

Last Monday, the State Security Court (SSC) found Bassem Awadallah guilty on the account of two charges in civil unrest. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison with temporary labor - the application of one of the two penalties.

The SSC also charged Sheriff Hassan Ben Zeid, the second defendant, with the three accounts against him. He was sentenced to 15 years of temporary labor for the first and second accounts, and the application of one of the two penalties. Moreover, he was convicted for drug abuse, and sentenced to one year in prison with a fine of 1000 dinars plus fees.

The indictment of the coup d'état case in Jordan, which Prince Hamza bin Al Hussein was accused of, revealed that “The former Crown Prince was plotting sedition and incitement against the government and tried, in vain, to secure Saudi Arabia’s support to make it possible.”

The Jordanian government declared on April 4 that Prince Hamza, 41, and others were involved in "the disruption and destabilization of Jordan's Security" through iniquitous schemes.
