"Israel” Continues to Raze Palestinian Houses in Al-Quds, West Bank
The Odeh family home was demolished by Israeli occupation forces.
According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces demolished numerous Palestinian homes in the Silwan neighborhood, in Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds). The Odeh family was expelled from their home in the Bir Ayoub neighborhood before occupation forces crushed the residence.
The residents of Silwan condemned the Israeli occupation authorities' continued home demolitions, as well as coercing Palestinians to destroy their homes under false pretenses.
The residents also sought the attention of the international community to halt the oppressive and destructive Israeli policy of demobilization.
Israeli occupation also forced another Palestinian family to demolish its home in Beit Hanina, resulting in a whole family relocating to a tent.
Furthermore, raids continued in the Sheikh Jarrah Neighborhood, numerous Palestinians were arrested, including Murad Attieh, who was transported to an unknown location.
On its account, the Endowment Department reported that “dozens of Israeli settlers carried out provocative tours in Al-Aqsa mosque," stressing that a US delegation, which was heavily guarded by Israeli occupation forces, has also raided the mosque.
The Islamic Jihad movement warned of the dangers of a US security delegation visiting occupied Palestine and touring Al-Aqsa mosque, emphasizing that "the visit falls within the context of strengthening security coordination and returning to the irrational negotiation path."
The movement urged national forces "to confront all schemes aimed at undermining our rights and principles."
Furthermore, Palestinians in the West Bank attended the funeral of martyred Shadi Omar al-Sharfa.
After two weeks of detention, the Martyr's body was released by the occupation from the town of Beita in Nablus, according to Palestinian authorities.
Earlier, an Al Mayadeen correspondent in occupied Palestine said that Israeli occupation troops shot a girl in the settlement of "Yitzhar," south of Nablus, for reportedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.
