Syria: 7 Soldiers Martyred in an IED Attack in Daraa

Syrian army units found a tunnel under residential buildings in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood
Seven Syrian soldiers were martyred and three others were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) ripped through their vehicles in the countryside of Daraa, according to the Russian news agency RIA Novosti.
Citing a military source, the Russian agency reported that an explosive device planted on the road between the towns of Nafaa and Ain Dhikr in the western countryside of Daraa has exploded as a Syrian army supply vehicle passed, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of numerous soldiers.
Concurrently, Syrian army units found a tunnel beneath residential buildings in the Daraa al-Balad neighborhood.
The Tunnel had been used by terrorist groups to launch their attacks against Syrian civilians and the army points on the line of engagement, according to Syrian news agency SANA.
Furthermore, Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that units of the Syrian Arab Army on Wednesday entered Daraa al-Balad area and raised the national flag over the settlement center in the al-Arba’in neighborhood.
In the framework of the settlement agreement negotiated by the Syrian State, the cases of approximately 800 militants have been settled.
