290 Palestinians detained in the West Bank last month by Israelis
The Israeli occupation army announced the arrest of 290 Palestinians in the West Bank over the course of one month, according to Israeli media reports.

During West Bank operations in April, hundreds of Palestinians were arrested, weapons were seized, and hundreds of thousands of shekels were confiscated from Palestinian homes, Israeli media claimed on Saturday.
Israeli Channel 12 reported, citing an Israeli military spokesperson, that 290 Palestinians were arrested, 60 weapons were seized, and hundreds of thousands of shekels were confiscated during operations in the West Bank in April.
Institutions concerned with prisoners' affairs reported a significant increase in the pace of arrests carried out by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, with nearly 800 detention cases recorded in March alone, including women and children.
Last Friday, the Prisoners' Media Office warned of escalating Israeli violations against Palestinian detainees in occupation prisons, describing the situation as a "slow assassination policy" targeting national figures within the captive movement.
Israeli forces intensify W. Bank campaign
Israeli occupation forces issued demolition orders targeting 106 homes and structures in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, giving residents only 24 hours to evacuate and remove their belongings, according to a report by the Middle East Monitor on May 2.
Israeli forces conducted a widespread arrest operation across multiple cities and towns in the occupied West Bank in the early hours of April 23, intensifying their ongoing crackdown on Palestinians.
In the raids, Israeli troops arrested over 15 Palestinians, among them former detainee Hanan al-Barghouthi from the village of Kobar, north of Ramallah, in addition to the town of ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, where soldiers seized a Palestinian home and converted it into a temporary military post.
The United Nations reports that approximately 40,000 residents have been displaced since January 21. When the Israeli Occupation Forces initiated a military operation in the northern occupied West Bank, which they claim targets Palestinian Resistance groups.
This ongoing Israeli operation, named "Iron Wall," has focused mainly on three refugee camps: Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams. In February, Security Minister Israel Katz stated the operation would continue for several months.
