In only 48 hours, more than 320 martyred and injured Palestinians were brought into hospitals in Gaza with severe burns due to "Israel's" usage of internationally prohibited weapons, according to Gaza's Government Media Office.

In a statement on Monday, it said that “These are unconventional and internationally prohibited weapons, (are) banned for use against humans, and mostly American-made," adding that the bodies were "severely burned due to the "Israeli occupation army's use of internationally prohibited weapons."

“According to medical estimates, the weapons used by the Israeli occupation army causing this type of third-degree burns are missiles and bombs known as thermal weapons or chemical weapons."

The Office highlighted that these weapons “cause a chemical reaction with the skin, leading to chemical erosion of tissues” in the body, causing severe pain and physical damage, “resulting in deadly burns within 27 hours or less," stressing that it strongly condemns the crimes done by the Israeli occupation against children, women, and civilians.

The Government Office also called on the international community “to condemn these burning crimes against civilians, to pursue the occupation, and to prosecute it before international courts," while holding the United States accountable for supplying the Israeli occupation with these weapons.

Washington is complicit

Washington has provided Tel Aviv with weapons since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, making it complicit in the horrific crimes being committed against the Palestinians. The US is also set to supply "Israel" with weapons worth billions of dollars in the coming months.

The Israeli occupation persisted in its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 284th day on Tuesday, committing horrific massacres against civilians, killing and injuring dozens after the occupation bombed different areas in the Gaza Strip.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) school of al-Razi in the al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, where many forcibly displaced families were taking refuge.

23 Palestinians were killed in the horrific massacre and dozens were injured.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced in its daily report on Tuesday that the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza due to the Israeli genocidal war ongoing since October 7 has now reached 38,713, in addition to 89,166 injuries. Additionally, it confirmed that Israeli occupation forces committed two massacres in the previous 24 hours, killing 49 and injuring 69.
