A source tells Al Mayadeen that the rockets primarily targeted the radar station within the Conoco gas field base.
A barrage of six rockets targeted the US occupation base at the Conoco gas field in Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Tuesday.
A field source told Al Mayadeen that four rockets successfully hit their targets inside the military base at the Conoco gas field in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The source also confirmed that loud explosions were heard inside the US military base.
According to the source, the rockets primarily targeted the radar station within the Conoco gas field base.
Shortly after, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the US forces conducted strikes from the Conoco gas field, targeting the seven villages east of the Euphrates River, which are under the control of the Syrian government.
Our correspondent mentioned that the US strikes targeted the villages of Hatla, Marat, Khasham, and the outskirts of Huwaijat Saker and Huwaijat al-Muray'iya in the Deir Ezzor countryside.
Earlier, Al Mayadeen's sources reported that the Conoco base was targeted with multiple rockets at midnight on Monday.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent then reported that US occupation forces stationed at the base launched artillery strikes on the villages of Huwaijat Sakr and al-Jafra.
Last week, Al Mayadeen's sources said that Resistance factions in Syria reportedly targeted the US-occupied Conoco gas facility with a number of missiles.
Back then, missiles were launched from the International coalition's base in the Conoco field, targeting Saker Island and the eastern outskirts of Deir Ezzor, which are under the Syrian Amry's control. No material damage was reported.
The sources noted that US occupation forces bombarded the village of Marat.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent said that four civilians were injured, including a woman, while six artillery shells impacted the perimeter of the towns of al-Jafra and Sakr Island, as a result of the US aggression.
