52 killed, 72 wounded in Israeli massacres in Lebanon's northern Bekaa
Israeli warplanes struck several areas in the northern Bekaa, in northeastern Lebanon, killing and wounding 124 individuals.
Israeli warplanes killed 52 people and injured another 72 in Lebanon's northern Bekaa region, in the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate, on Friday, according to a toll released by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The attacks occurred in these towns, causing the following casualties:
- 12 martyrs and seven wounded in the town of Amhaz.
- Six martyrs and four wounded in Harabta.
- Nine martyrs and one wounded in Younin.
- Eight martyrs and seven wounded in Badnayel.
- Four martyrs and seven wounded in Nahleh.
- Two martyrs in al-Shrawneh neighborhood in the city of Baalbek.
- One martyr and seven wounded in Taraiyya.
- Four martyrs and two wounded in al-Aalaq.
- Four martyrs in Iyyat.
- One wounded in Laboueh.
- Six wounded in al-Khoder.
From the onset of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, the Israeli regime has made civilians in southern Lebanon, the Bekaa, and the Southern Suburbs of Beirut, as well as other areas, among their primary targets.
More recently, Baalbek-Hermel has faced an escalating number of strikes that have targeted civilians and civilian infrastructure.
