At least eight Palestinians were reported martyred, and 16 others were injured in the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, according to the latest daily report from local health authorities. Among the casualties, six were newly martyred, while the bodies of two others were retrieved from under the rubble.
Medical sources confirmed that rescue and civil defense teams are still unable to reach several victims trapped beneath destroyed buildings and along roadways due to ongoing bombardment and restricted access.
Despite the declared ceasefire on October 11, 2025, the violence has continued to claim lives. Since that date:
- 366 Palestinians have been martyred
- 938 have been injured
- 619 bodies have been retrieved
Since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023, the death toll in Gaza has now reached 70,125 martyrs, with 171,015 people injured. Authorities continue to warn of a worsening humanitarian situation, with medical infrastructure under severe strain and emergency crews facing enormous challenges in reaching affected areas.
IOF commit massacre in Khan Younis
"Israel" continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, carrying out a massacre in Khan Younis that killed several people, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported. In detail, our correspondent revealed that five Palestinians, including two children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Earlier, our correspondent said that Israeli warplanes targeted a displaced persons’ tent near the Kuwaiti Hospital in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, though the initial report did not confirm any injuries. Furthermore, Al Mayadeen's correspondent said Israeli armored vehicles opened heavy fire on the al-Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, accompanied by artillery shelling near Salah al-Din Street.
An Israeli quadcopter drone also dropped an explosive device at the al-Shujaiya junction, while occupation forces released illumination bombs over the area. Israeli artillery further targeted the eastern areas of Rafah.
