Some 80% of Russian citizens have said they trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, a poll conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) said.

The overwhelming majority of respondents, all of whom are Russian citizens, expressed their trust in Putin (80%), while 77% said they agreed with his performance. Only 16% of those polled expressed distrust in Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The poll was conducted between October 10 and October 16 with a total of 1,600 Russian citizens through in-person interviews.

Putin's popularity has been on a steady incline over the past,  as several polls which have been recently conducted found similar figures.

Yet, according to a poll conducted by Beacon Research and Shaw & Company Research, only 33% percent of Americans would vote to reelect US President Joe Biden if the presidential election were held immediately. On the other hand, 54% voted that they would choose another candidate. The poll obtained the answers from 1,206 registered voters.

Biden's popularity is the lowest among the past 3 presidents. Donald Trump mustered 35% in reelect popularity in January 2018, while Barack Obama got 39% in September 2010.

71% percent of Democrats said they would reelect Biden, while 19% said they would vote for someone else. On the other hand, 91% of Republicans opted for someone else. Around 4% said they would still vote for Biden.
