A Syrian military source reported that the Syrian Air Defense intercepted several hostile targets in Damascus air space, shooting down the majority of them.
The source indicated that the Israeli occupation launched aerial aggression from the direction of the Lebanese capital, Beirut's southeast. The aggression consisted of several missiles that landed on a number of points in the vicinity of Damascus.
The source explained that the losses were only material ones.
In a similar vein, Israeli media reported that loud explosions were heard in Gush Dan, an area in "Tel Aviv." Air raid sirens were not sounded in the area despite the explosions.
Apparently, according to Israeli media, the explosions were caused by anti-ballistic missiles launched from Syria while intercepting the Israeli missiles, violating international law and Syria's sovereignty.
