The Israeli occupation forces revealed on Tuesday that 11 soldiers were wounded over the past 24 hours, with several sustaining critical and moderate injuries. Eight occupation soldiers were revealed to have been wounded during confrontations against the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza.

Israeli Channel 7 reported, citing the Israeli Security Ministry, that the rehab department has received 9,250 wounded soldiers since October 7, most of whom are reservists.

Moreover, 37% of wounded occupation soldiers are also suffering from psychological distress, the channel stated.

On Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces revealed the death of a colonel in the engineering corps during the battles in the southern Gaza Strip, which raised the death toll in its ranks since October 7 to 680 officers and soldiers, admitted by "Israel".

Under the "permitted to publish" clause, the Israeli forces admitted that a company commander in the 601st Engineering Corps Battalion was killed during confrontations in the southern Gaza Strip.

With the death of the colonel, the number of killed occupation soldiers in the battles of the Gaza Strip has risen to 680 since October 7, 2023.
