Additionally, Al Mayadeen's correspondent explained that George Galloway's victory in the by-election in Rochdale was a major shock to the British government, causing "a political earthquake in the United Kingdom." The leader of the Workers Party in Britain sent shockwaves through the British political establishment, angering both Conservative Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and the leader of the Labour Party Keith Starmer, who both staunchly supported "Israel's" aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Also in Europe, the Danish capital, Copenhagen, witnessed a massive march in solidarity with the Palestinian people. The participants raised Palestinian flags and banners calling for an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and chanted slogans supporting an end to the genocide.
