The Yemeni Armed Forces are heading toward expanding the scope of their operations conducted against the Israeli occupation forces' war on the Gaza Strip, the leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul al-Malik al-Houthi, declared on Thursday.

Sayyed al-Houthi's announcement will reverberate across global politics, as he underlined that the YAF is heading toward launching attacks on vessels in the Indian Ocean that have been redirected toward the Cape of Good Hope Route, following attacks on merchant and military vessels affiliated with the tripartite Alliance of Evil of the United States, the United Kingdom, and "Israel".

Avoiding missile and drone attacks from the Yemeni Navy in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, ships heading toward Israeli-occupied ports have opted for the longer route of circling the African continent, paralyzing the Israeli-occupied port in Um al-Rashrash or "Eilat".

"Our Yemeni Armed Forces will carry on the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza," the leader of the Ansar Allah emphasized on Thursday.

"Operations targeting Israeli-affiliated vessels and ships affiliated with the American and British sides are ongoing with high effectiveness," he revealed.

Yemeni Armed Forces eye Indian Ocean to Cope of Good Hope route

"Our serious direction is to expand the scope of our operations to reach sites the enemy would never expect," he underlined as he moved on to declare the possible direction of the YAF in the upcoming days.

"We aim to prevent ships associated with the Israeli enemy from crossing the Indian Ocean toward South Africa [and] the Cape of Good Hope," Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi revealed.

"Our stance [to follow through] continuous escalation," he said, affirming that the capabilities of the Yemeni Armed Forces continue to develop their capabilities.

Sayyed al-Houthi underscored that any US action in the region "will not be able to stop us from supporting Gaza."

"Our naval operations continue as long as the aggression against Gaza persists," he underlined.

"American and British obstinacy have one outcome, which is the widening of the conflict and war at the regional level," the leader explained.

On his part, the head of the Ansar Allah negotiating delegation, Mohammad Abdul-Salam, said, "In the face of the escalation of aggression against Gaza, we affirm that Yemen has turned toward escalation by pursuing Israeli ships in the Indian Ocean and preventing them from sailing toward Bab al-Mandab Strait."

"International shipping companies associated with Israel must take this escalation seriously and realize that any ship linked to Israel is vulnerable to Yemeni missiles," he added.

Popular momentum should parallel escalating operations

"Our operations this time have reached an unprecedented level, extending to include three operations in the Indian Ocean," Sayyed al-Houthi said, marking the first such announcement.

"The popular momentum must remain parallel to the military operations," he said in reference to "million man" demonstrations held by the Yemeni people across several governorates.

"To the Yemeni people: I call upon you to participate in the honorable million-man march tomorrow afternoon in Sanaa and all provinces in solidarity with Gaza," he affirmed.

Yemen offers martyrs on the path to al-Quds

"Yemen has presented 34 martyrs in support of our people in Gaza, and we are honored to offer martyrs in this sacred battle," the leader added.

"We consider every martyr we have presented for the sake of God as a source of pride, and we are honored to offer martyrs in this sacred battle and honorable stance," Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized.

"During the past week, we have carried out 12 operations targeting ships and warships in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Gulf of Aden, reaching unprecedented extents," he said.

Sayyed al-Houthi said that the YAF launched 58 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones in the aforementioned areas.

The people of Gaza embrace the Resistance

Highlighting the steadfastness of the Resistance in Gaza, Sayyed al-Houthi confirmed its ongoing battles on multiple axes, repeatedly astounding the occupation with ambushes and new tactics, as the Resistance groups continue to inflict great losses on the Israeli occupation.

In his speech, Sayyed al-Houthi highlighted the efforts of some Arab countries aimed at distorting the image of the Palestinian Resistance factions and their Jihad, by including them on "terrorist" lists.

The leader of Ansar Allah pointed out that the people of the Gaza Strip are standing strong and patient while they are experiencing an unparalleled ordeal, yet their position has not changed and their resolve has not been broken, as their embrace and support for the Resistance remains unchanged.

In this context, he saluted the clans in the Gaza Strip for their awareness of the occupation's attempts to foment strife and division between the people of Gaza and the Resistance fighters using humanitarian aid as a pretext.

From the Islamic world, only Iran supported Palestine

In another context, Sayyed al-Houthi stressed the extent of the responsibility all Muslims in all the Islamic countries should shoulder regarding the unfolding atrocities in the Gaza Strip, noting that the states of the said regions "did not [officially] take a serious practical stance in the course of supporting the Palestinian people," adding that neither did they "take actual economic and political steps or measures to pressure the American and Israeli sides."

He further highlighted that it was only Iran, from among these countries, who stood up and "provided weapons to the freedom fighters in Gaza to defend the entire nation."

US deception part of the Israeli aggression

Meanwhile, the United States and other Western countries are not "ashamed of providing weapons to the Israeli enemy to pursue its crime of genocide in Gaza," Sayyed al-Houthi confirmed.

"The Israeli occupation is carrying out the crime of the century, with American participation and contributions from Western and some Arab countries," he said.

In this context, the leader of Ansar Allah indicated that Washington’s engagement in the criminality practiced in the Gaza Strip has increased by "preventing the cessation of the aggression and its maneuvers to ensure that the aggression and siege on the Strip continue."

He added that the deception and maneuvering methods practiced by the United States are "part of the aggression against the Palestinian people."

Regarding the US aid airdrops, which led to the martyrdom of several people in Gaza, Sayyed al-Houthi confirmed that the real intent behind them is “to insult the Palestinian people,” explaining that the occupation is trying to sideline the official mission regarding the distribution of aid and its supervision in Gaza.
