Yemen's Ansar Allah test-fired hypersonic missile: Military
Yemen's Ansar Allah has carried out a test flight of a hypersonic missile with high destructive capability.
Yemen's Ansar Allah movement conducted a test flight of a hypersonic missile and is gearing up to integrate these missiles into its military arsenal, a military source affiliated with the movement told Sputnik.
"Missile forces of the movement have successfully tested a missile that can reach speeds of up to Mach 8 [10,000 kilometers per hour or 6,200 miles per hour] and is powered by solid fuel. Yemen plans to begin manufacturing it for use in attacks in the Red and Arabian Seas and the Gulf of Aden, as well as against targets in Israel," the source said.
Alongside the hypersonic missile test, the armed forces improved their missile and drone tech, enhancing the explosive warheads to double their destructive capacity following a three-month testing period, as per the source.
Yemen conducts 'path to al-Quds' drills
Earlier this week, the Yemeni army conducted military drills under the slogan "Our path leads to al-Quds," simulating the storming of Israeli occupation sites in the al-Naqab Desert, establishing control of the "Dimona" settlements, as well as Israeli military sites.
The military drills conducted by the Sixth Region of the Yemeni Armed Forces in the Sanaa government simulated the targeting of American and British supplies to "Israel".
Various military units and divisions of the Sixth Military District Reserve Forces, including the Air Force and heavy and medium weapons units, participated in the drills.
Earlier last month, Yemeni Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddine al-Houthi said that the Yemeni Armed Forces have developed the existing missiles in their arsenal to the point that they have become too advanced for the US forces to intercept, as they have failed to block them from reaching their ships.
The movement's operations come in light of Yemen's solidarity with the people of Palestine and the Palestinian Resistance against the Israeli occupation. The Yemeni armed forces have vowed to attack any ship belonging to the occupation, affiliated with the occupation, or heading toward an Israeli port.
