The head of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, has issued a stern warning to all companies investing in the Israeli occupation, urging them to take Yemen’s warning seriously and withdraw immediately, as the environment has become increasingly unsafe.
On Saturday, a source in Yemen’s Ministry of Defense warned foreign investors and companies in the Israeli entity to "leave immediately".
"Foreign investors and companies operating in the Zionist entity should leave immediately, as the environment will not be safe," the source told SABA news agency, adding, "It is best to do so while the opportunity remains."
In his statement to SABA, President al-Mashat cautioned that any company choosing to remain in "Israel" after this warning must assume full responsibility for that decision and any resulting losses.
"We may take additional measures in the coming days if needed, which would place investing companies in Israel at real and significant risk," he cautioned, adding that “ignoring Yemen’s warnings means betting on a volatile situation that could carry heavy consequences.”
Al-Mashat also condemned the Israeli occupation government, stating, "Netanyahu's criminal government doesn't care about investor interests, gambling with their safety to serve its own agenda. A regime that neglects its own prisoners' lives won't protect foreign companies or investments."
He added that Yemeni authorities would soon announce a departure deadline for affected companies to minimize harm and avoid collateral damage. He warned that consequences may not be limited to operations inside "Israel" but could extend to investments abroad if the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) escalate.
Al-Mashat concluded by noting that some companies had already begun moving their assets in response to earlier warnings and advised others to act swiftly before it was too late.
Sanaa declares Israeli military routes as combat zones
Yemeni President Mahdi al-Mashat announced on Friday that all air and maritime routes used by Israeli forces to conduct attacks on Yemen are now designated as dangerous zones for civilian and commercial traffic, as Sanaa steps up its military response to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.
"For the safety of air and maritime navigation in the areas where our armed forces operate, we have issued directives to designate the routes used by the Zionist enemy to attack our country as dangerous zones for all companies," al-Mashat stated. He urged airlines and maritime operators to reroute, warning of impending military actions targeting the Israelis operating in these corridors.
The declaration comes days after Israeli warplanes struck Sanaa International Airport, prompting al-Mashat to directly warn Israeli settlers that their government could no longer protect them. "The government of filthy Netanyahu will not be able to protect you," he said, stressing that "bunkers will no longer be safe."
In his address, the Yemeni leader reaffirmed the capability of his armed forces to engage Israeli warplanes without disrupting international air or sea traffic. "Our armed forces will be able to deal with the hostile Zionist aircraft without any harm to air and maritime navigation," he said.
Al-Mashat also hinted at imminent developments, saying, "You will soon receive, God willing, good news about the Zionist enemy's aircraft used in the aggression against our country." He added that Yemen's air defenses would soon make those aircraft "a source of ridicule."
