Additionally, Al Mayadeen aired footage, also aired for the first time, depicting the martyred Sayyed Safieddine and the commander of Resistance forces in the South martyr Ali Karaki in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region in southern Lebanon.
The footage documents part of a tour conducted by martyr Sayyed Saffiedine, accompanied by the martyred “Abu al-Fadl,” to launch a project for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of religious shrines and to promote religious and jihadist tourism in the region. This included the shrine of Prophet Abu Ruqab in Aytaroun and an inspection of the road to facilitate public access for visitation.

Al Mayadeen aired this footage during an interview with Member of Parliament Hassan Fadlallah, titled Al-Ameen Al-Hashemi. In the interview, Fadlallah discussed aspects of the martyred leader’s personality.
Following his martyrdom in an intense Israeli air raid in early October 2024, Sayyed Saffiedine’s remains were initially interred in a temporary, undisclosed location. On February 24, 2025, a formal funeral procession was held, after which he was laid to rest in his hometown of Deir Qanun al-Nahr in southern Lebanon, after being transported alongside Sayyed Nasrallah's body in the massive funeral procession held for both leaders on Sunday.
