Al Mayadeen's sources: IOF place concrete blocks on Lebanese soil
The sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that these cement blocks, near the Baathiel area in the Kfar Chouba hills, breach the so-called "withdrawal line", which is not recognized by Lebanon.
Lebanese military sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the Israeli occupation has placed concrete blocks in the Kfar Chouba hills, within Lebanese territory.
The sources indicated that these cement blocks, near the Baathiel area in the Kfar Chouba hills, breach the so-called "withdrawal line," which is not recognized by Lebanon, by about three meters and a width that exceeds 10 meters.
Beirut sent a complaint to UNIFIL forces against the Israeli breach and demanded the removal of the concrete blocks.

In an unprecedented step taken by the people of Kfar Chouba, Lebanese bulldozers began digging on July 20 to build a road adjacent to the border, at a time when the Lebanese army was strengthening its measures.
This came after Israeli occupation soldiers threw two smoke bombs at a Lebanese army patrol on the outskirts of Kfar Chouba when a team of Lebanese army topographers, accompanied by UNIFIL members, were carrying out a routine survey in the hills near the Baathiel pond, after the Israeli bulldozers in the area.
The Israeli attack did not result in any injuries.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Lebanese youths from the village removed barbed wires placed by Israeli occupation forces and filled in a tunnel they had dug in the area.
At a later time, the people of the town were also able to enter occupied Lebanese lands behind the "withdrawal line", raising the Lebanese flag on a hill opposite the site of Al-Samaqa, in light of the mobilization of the occupation soldiers, who brought reinforcements and vehicles to the place.

During the past two months, the occupation forces took measures in the northern part of the border town of Al-Ghajar.
The measures taken by the occupying forces consisted of building a barbed wire fence and building a concrete wall around the entire town, similar to what they are doing on the border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine.
After that, Lebanese media announced that "the surveillance cameras installed by the Israeli army over the separating fence at the Gate of Fatima" were destroyed, as they represent a clear violation of international laws.
Israeli media discussed the occupation soldiers' failure in the north, saying that the Israeli forces were late to discover the theft of a camera at the border with Lebanon.
