Al-Qassam Brigades snipes IOF soldier east of Jabalia, northern Gaza
The Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip is still engaging with the occupying forces at close range in Jabalia, exhausting their troops.
The Palestinian Resistance continues its operations against the Israeli occupation military across various combat fronts in the Gaza Strip on the 424th day of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that the Resistance is engaged in fierce confrontations with the occupation forces in the al-Jenena neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced Tuesday that its fighters had managed to snipe at an Israeli soldier near the Zammo roundabout, east of Jabalia, in northern Gaza.
On Monday, the Brigades confirmed that its fighters had targeted Israeli positions in the Nirim and Third Eye settlements with several 114mm Rajum rockets.
The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, published footage of its fighters targeting groupings of Israeli soldiers along the Netzarim Axis, during a joint operation with the al-Mujahideen Brigades and the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

The Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip is still engaging with the occupying forces at close range in Jabalia, exhausting their troops.
For the 60th consecutive day, northern Gaza remains under an Israeli siege and starvation, with intense aerial and artillery bombardments concentrated on Jabalia and Beit Lahia, completely isolating the northern governorate from the rest of Gaza.
Hamas has not surrendered in Jabalia: Israeli media
Israeli media reported that Hamas has not yet surrendered in Jabalia, where it has continuously tracked Israeli forces.
The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth highlighted that around 30 Israeli soldiers were killed during the confrontations in Jabalia in the current operation, including the commander of the 401st Brigade, noting that the average number of Israeli casualties is one soldier every two days.
Earlier, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz suggested that the ongoing fighting in the Jabalia camp, in northern Gaza, demonstrates the exaggeration of Israeli claims about a victory over Hamas.
Historically, the Jabalia refugee camp has been a pivotal front in the Palestinian struggle against Israeli occupation. It was from there that the spark of the First Intifada (uprising), the "Stone Intifada," was ignited in 1987.
The uprising later spread throughout Gaza through popular demonstrations and confrontations with the Israeli occupation military, which saw the hurling of stones and Molotov cocktails at its patrols, soldiers, and centers.
With the outbreak of the Second Intifada, the "Al-Aqsa Intifada," in 2000, refugees from the Jabalia camp played a prominent role, participating in the funerals of those killed in the uprising and launching attacks against Israeli military posts and barracks.
Soon after, the methods of confrontation evolved to include gunfire, the storming of settlements built on Gaza's land, and the digging and detonation of tunnels beneath them, culminating in the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and the dismantling of its settlements in September 2005.
