Al-Qassam fighters ambush Israeli forces in Jabalia, deal casualties
Palestinian Resistance fighters continue to confront the aggression on Jabalia and deal further casualties among Israeli occupation forces.
Just over a year since the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip began, with the goal of eliminating and uprooting the Resistance, Palestinian fighters continue to ambush Israeli occupation forces, in one of the areas that has seen the most intense fighting since, Jabalia.
The town located to the north of Gaza City has defended against multiple Israeli ground invasions and endured rounds of Israeli shelling and intense airstrikes.
On Tuesday, Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades destroyed an Israeli armored personnel carrier (APC), using an improvised explosive device (IED) filled with high explosives, in the Jabalia refugee camp.
The Brigades also planted a Shawaz explosively formed penetrator (EFP), detonating to target an Israeli Merkava 4 main battle tank in the same axis.
In further confrontations, al-Qassam fighters were able to eliminate an Israeli soldier during a close-quarters battle. An Israeli military rescue force then arrived at the scene to retrieve the killed soldier, falling into an ambush that the Resistance had set up in the Tawwam area to the north of Gaza City.
Using an anti-personnel IED, al-Qassam fighters killed and injured members of the rescue force.
In Jabalia, al-Qassam fighters engaged an Israeli special force, killing and injuring its members.

Meanwhile, al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades said that its fighters, as well as fighters from al-Quds Brigades, shelled Israeli occupation forces in Juhr al-Dik, a barren area between the northern and central Gaza Strip where Israeli forces have set up a command control station.
Al-Mujahideen Brigades also shelled Israeli occupation forces advancing into Jabalia with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
On October 7, 2024, the Palestinian Resistance marked the one-year anniversary of Operation al-Aqsa Flood with heavy rocket attacks that targeted Israeli military sites in the Gaza Strip and the Gaza Envelope and a salvo of M-90 rockets fired at Tel Aviv.
