Al-Qassam fighters hit Israeli force, rescue team in Khan Younis
The Palestinian Resistance have continued to push back against Israeli forces even as they withdrew from the Al-Shifa Medical Complex on Monday.
The Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip continues to target and engage invading Israeli occupation forces for the 178th day since the war on Gaza was launched.
On Monday, the Israeli occupation withdrew from Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, under the fire of Resistance fighters who conducted several operations simultaneously.
The most complex operation conducted on Monday was executed by Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades fighters who ambushed occupation forces in the city of Khan Younis. Al-Qassam fighters targeted an Israeli armored personnel carrier (APC) with a locally produced tandem rocket-propelled grenade, dubbed al-Yassin, in Khan Younis's city center. In the same area, Resistance fighters launched another shell toward seven Israeli occupation forces, dealing direct hits to the intended targets.
After evacuation units and rescue teams arrived at the scene to assist the targeted Israeli force, al-Qassam fighters fired heavy machine guns at the forces, killing and injuring them.
On its part, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades targeted an Israeli Merkava 4 tank in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, just before Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the hospital.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine's (DFLP) National Resistance Brigades mortar units targeted parked Israeli armored vehicles to the northeast of al-Qarara in the southern Gaza Strip.
After they had returned from the battlefield on Monday, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades fighters confirmed that they sniped an Israeli occupation sniper in the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
So far, Resistance factions in Palestine and supporting fronts have killed 600 Israeli occupation soldiers and officers, 256 of whom were killed since the invasion of the Gaza Strip in late October 2023.
In the latest batch of casualties confirmed by Israeli authorities, the military command admitted that 3,160 troops were injured from October 7, 2023, to March 28, 2024. This equates to an entire Israeli Brigade, putting immense pressure on other units and reservists to make up for the loss of fighters and commanders.
