Al-Qassam hit multiple Israeli tanks, kills 40 soldiers
Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades destroy dozens of Israeli tanks and military vehicles while inflicting major casualties on the invading Israeli soldiers in Gaza.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, published footage on Sunday showing its fighters fiercely resisting the Israeli occupation forces invading the Strip in the south, namely in Khan Yunis.
The al-Qassam's footage showed the Resistance fighters engaging a group of Israeli soldiers and firing a precision-guided missile at an infantry force at said group attempting to set up a military position east of Khan Yunis.
The footage showed several Israeli positions being attacked and Israeli vehicles being destroyed in numerous directions.
The al-Qassam once again documented their usage of drone warfare against the Israeli occupation, wherein a UAV dropped an explosive on an Israeli tank east of Khan Yunis, which seemingly impaired the Israeli vehicle.
The Resistance fighters destroyed at least 44 Israeli military vehicles over the past 48 hours all over Gaza, Hamas' military wing said.
The fighters "have recorded 40 soldiers as killed in action wherein dozens of others were wounded," the al-Qassam Brigades said as they continued to bleed the invading Israeli soldiers.
Resistance inflicting major losses
The Resistance has been mainly attacking the invading Israeli soldiers with anti-armor and anti-tank RPGs, as well as anti-personnel mines and UAVs, not to mention through urban warfare using their knowledge of the terrain and the renowned tunnels at their disposal.
Israeli media reported that a senior Israeli officer was killed on Sunday as part of the invasion after succumbing to the wounds he sustained on Friday in Gaza.
The Israeli occupation forces have also reported that five Israeli soldiers were seriously wounded in confrontations with the Resistance in various areas in Gaza.
Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Obeida revealed earlier in the day that the Resistance carried out dozens of operations against the Israeli occupation forces.
The al-Qassam's fighters either completely or partially destroyed more than 180 military vehicles over the last 10 days, he said.
The spokesperson went on to underline that the al-Qassam Brigades attacked Israeli vehicles with the Yassin-105 anti-armor RPG, as well as Shawaz IEDs, as well as infantry forces holed out in residential buildings.
After reviewing the al-Qassam Brigades' operations, the spokesperson clarified that the more the savage war of the Israeli enemy continues, the greater its failure becomes.
'Israel' set for failure
"The enemy failed in the northern and southern Gaza Strip and would continue to fail even more as long as its aggression continues and extends to other areas within Gaza," the spokesperson said.
Abu Obaida called on the Palestinian people and all Muslims and opponents of the occupation to "mobilize by responding to the enemy by fighting and protesting against the occupation and everyone standing behind it."
The Israeli enemy "continues to receive painful blows, the latest of which was in the heart of al-Quds and various parts of the West Bank," he said, referring to the recent operation by the al-Qassam Brigades in the occupied city of al-Quds.
He pointed out that the resistance was fighting on its land in a sacred battle. "We have no choice but to fight this enemy in every street, alley, and neighborhood."
Israeli media outlets reported on Saturday that the number of Israeli occupation soldiers killed since the beginning of the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip has risen to 102.
