Al-Qassam locally produced RPG destroys Israeli Namer vehicle in Gaza
Resistance fighters continue to launch rockets and fire mortars at Israeli occupation forces while directly confronting them within neighborhoods for more than 70 days.
The Hamas movement's Al-Qassam Brigades destroyed an Israeli armored personnel carrier in al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, on Sunday morning.
The blow marks yet another monumental achievement for the Resistance's locally produced tandem charged 67/105 mm rocket-propelled grenade. Known as al-Yassin, the RPG has been a mainstay for al-Qassam fighters, who are engaging a greatly superior military force all over the Gaza Strip.
Imported tandem RPG charges have also aided the Resistance in its fight to confront and push back against invading forces, armed with top-of-the-line Merkava tanks and Namer APCs.
Al-Qassam's military media released footage of the operation, in which a Namer was successfully destroyed. It is worth noting that the Namer set itself apart from other modern APCs for its armor protection, as it shares the same hull as Israeli Merkava tanks. Moreover, by eliminating the Merkava's turret, the IOF used the freed-up space to beef up the vehicle's armor.

Resistance confronts invading forces
Amid their ongoing invasion of towns and refugee camps of the central Gaza Strip, occupation forces were also showered with several large caliber mortar rounds, as announced by al-Qassam Brigades.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the Palestinian Resistance continued to fiercely confront Israeli occupation forces at the eastern entrance of al-Zawayda which is located just to the west of al-Maghazi refugee camp. Our correspondent also said that Resistance fighters are confronting Israeli occupation forces at the outskirts of al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Concurrently, the northern and eastern areas of the city of Khan Younis also saw fierce engagement as the Israeli occupation carried on a 40-day-long invasion into the governate, that has seen the deployment of 7 Brigades, equivalent to a division and a half in a relatively small area.
Maintaining command & control
The Resistance has also carried out short-range rocket attacks on Israeli occupation sites and troop gathering, from the northern and southern Gaza Strip.
On Sunday, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades carried out rocket attacks on three kibbutzim located in the Gaza Envelope, which the Israeli military appropriated for its operations.
To the east of Rafah in the southernmost Gaza Strip, the Brigades' units targeted "Sufa" and "Holit" with rocket artillery, while other units in the northern Gaza Strip targeted "Nahel Oz", located around 30 km away from the other previously mentioned kibbutzim. This highlights the Resistance's continued ability to command rocket-launching operations from areas invaded by the Israeli military.
Moreover, the Resistance has also expanded its area of operations, as mortar units of the al-Mujahideen Brigades launched an attack on Israeli armored vehicles stationed to the west of Beit Lahia, in the northernmost region of the Gaza Strip.
