The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, have published a video of the Israeli captive Alon Ohel, who has now been held for over 700 days in the Gaza Strip, a situation they attributed to "Netanyahu's intransigence".
The video published on Monday shows the captive Ohel watching a clip of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying he is "trying to find an innovative way to bring back all the living detainees," to which Ohel responds by asking, "What is this talk? Does anyone still believe Netanyahu?"
In the video, the captive Ohel directed a message to his family, saying, "I know you are suffering because of me, and unfortunately, supporting prisoners has become a crime... I apologize for asking more of you than you can handle."

"I know that Ben-Gvir's police are treating you like criminals," he added.
The captive continued, pleading with them to keep protesting, stating that the captives' fate is being sealed and these are their final days. He added that the captives have become a burden for the government, saying, "They will keep killing us until no one is left alive," and begging people to stop the Israeli government by any means possible.
Ohel also directed a message to the American envoy Steve Witkoff, saying, "I implore you, do not assist Netanyahu in killing the prisoners," demanding that the United States "stop supporting Netanyahu's insane decisions in his war against the Israeli people and the prisoners."
The video closely follows "Israel" launching a military operation to invade and occupy Gaza City, where the Palestinian Resistance continues to confront the Israeli occupation forces' incursion into the territory.
Al-Qassam attacks a Merkava tank in Gaza City, inflicts casualties
Israeli media have acknowledged that a combat officer from the Shaked battalion of the Givati Brigade was seriously wounded on Monday during a close-quarters clash with Palestinian fighters in Gaza City.
Meanwhile, the al-Qassam Brigades announced they targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a high-explosive landmine near the al-Bara'a mosque, south of the Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City, clarifying the operation was conducted on September 19.
Despite the intense Israeli aggression and siege, the Palestinian Resistance continues to carry out operations and ambushes, inflicting both material and human losses on the Israeli forces.
Israeli media confirmed that on September 18, four soldiers were killed and eight others were wounded when an explosive device targeted their Humvee in an area that had been considered a "safe zone for Israeli operations," describing the incident as extremely difficult.
