Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that its fighters targeted Israeli armored vehicles northwest of Beit Lahia.

The occupation forces' incursion took place in al-Amerkiya area at the northmost point of the Gaza Strip.

This comes after Palestinian Resistance fighters turned back a wider-scale attack on the Gaza Strip that consisted of three axes where the Israeli occupation forces attempted to infiltrate the Strip since Monday night.

Resistance's rocket fire will not stop

A few hours after Hamas announced that its fighters dealt heavy casualties to the intruding force, Al-Qassam Brigades, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's Al-Quds Brigades launched rocket attacks toward various points in occupied Palestine.

On Friday night, the occupation intensified its bombardment of the Gaza Strip, targeting residential areas and cutting off modes of communication from the Strip.

Amid heavy bombardment, IOF units attempted to infiltrate the Strip, however, they were met with heavy resistance from Palestinian factions. Reports later emerged indicating that military helicopters transported Israeli casualties from areas of confrontation.

The Resistance utilized anti-tank guided missiles as well as locally produced al-Yassin charges in ambushes to fend off the aggressors.

The Resistance Brigades also fired heavy rocket barrages at occupation settlements amid heavy Israeli bombing in the northern part of the Strip.

At 9:00 PM (local time) al-Quds Brigades targeted occupied Askalan, "Sderot", multiple areas in the Gaza Envelope, and "Ashdod" incrementally.

The Brigades also announced that they launched a Badr 3 rocket amid the heavy barrages at occupied Askalan.

It is worth noting that the new version of the rocket can be remotely launched while reports indicate that the rocket houses a payload of at least 200 kg of explosive material.
