Al-Quds Brigades mourns two of its fighters on the path to al-Quds
The military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine announces the martyrdom of two of its fighters on the Lebanese-Palestinian border while performing their resistance duty.
The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, announced on Monday evening the martyrdom of two fighters during the ongoing confrontations. The Resistance movement added that they were martyred at the occupied Palestine-Lebanon border.
In a brief statement, the al-Quds Brigades said that the two martyrs were Ahmad Mohammad Halawa (Abu Alaa), who was 33 years old, and Hussein Walid Awwad (Abu Ali), who was 28 years old. It stressed that the Resistance will remain steadfast on the path of jihad and resistance, until liberation and return.
This comes after Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Sunday that confrontations are concentrated in the eastern and western areas of the city of Khan Younis, and al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the southeast of Gaza City.
Al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters successfully sniped an Israeli soldier in the east Khan Younis front.
The Brigades announced that it carried out a significant Resistance operation in the Abasan al-Kabira area. It said their fighters targeted an Israeli bulldozer with a Barq-type explosive device, then targeted a Merkava tank with a Tandem shell, eliminating its crew from point-blank range.
