Ahmad al-Sharaa, head of Syria’s transitional phase, praised the decision made by US President Donald Trump to lift sanctions on Syria. Speaking on Wednesday in a televised address, al-Sharaa emphasized that Syria is committed to improving its investment climate and welcomes investors from within the country, the Arab world, and abroad.

This move marks a significant shift in the relationship between the United States and Syria, which has long been subject to US sanctions.
