Algeria, Morocco parties slam attack on Yemen as extension of Gaza war
The parties considered that the US-UK aggression on Yemen was a response to Sanaa's position and operations in support of Gaza and against the Israeli genocide.
Algerian and Moroccan parties condemned the aggressions on Yemen carried out by the United States and Britain, which resulted in the martyrdom of 5 and the injury of 6 others all from the Yemeni Armed Forces.
For two consecutive nights on Thursday and Friday, the two countries conducted dozens of strikes on several districts in Yemen, including the capital Sanaa, the coastal governorate of Hodeidah, Saada, Taiz, Dhamar, and Hajjah.
The attacks came due to Yemen's operations against Israeli interests, including ships affiliated with the occupation entity or heading toward it, in response to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and in support of the Strip's people.

The National Construction Movement in Algeria declared that the aggression "contradicts the necessity of preserving international peace and security, especially when it operates without UN authorization."
In a statement, the movement affirmed that the aggression on Yemen hinders the efforts of the United Nations and mediatory parties to achieve a settlement and bring peace to Yemen, which would positively impact security in the Gulf and the entire region.
The movement warned against any pretext to control international waters and passages, deeming it unjustifiable. It emphasized that the mission of international security and peace is a collective institutional task and not a unilateral one based on the possession of power.
Additionally, it underscored that it is impossible to separate the actions of the Yemeni armed Forces, resisting genocide in Palestine, forced displacement of its people, and attacks on sanctities from the Israeli aggression on Gaza, which has led to repercussions beyond the Gaza Strip, including the Red Sea region.

The statement asserted that the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip threatens to ignite the entire region and push toward a comprehensive escalation that threatens regional and international peace and security.
In the face of the worsening situation, the movement called on active international parties to "awaken their conscience" and exert immediate pressure to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza and provide protection to the Palestinians.
A pride in Yemen's sacrifices
The Progressive Arabic Front in Morocco also condemned the US-British aggression on Yemen, affirming that it is revenge against Sanaa's positions in support of the Palestinian people and an attempt to deter it by force.
The Front viewed this aggression as a clear extension of the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in Gaza for nearly 100 days, in which the US and UK coalition is participating.

It expressed absolute solidarity with the Yemeni people and pride in the initiatives and sacrifices made by the country's armed forces to stop the genocidal war on the resilient Palestinian people.
In its statement, it called for the continued demand for the immediate cessation of daily Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people.

Nothing will stand in the way of supporting Palestine
Yemen has been under an ongoing US-Saudi-UAE-led war for the past 9 years. The brutal aggression has also included a complete siege, which has resulted in the spread of famine, infectious diseases, and deaths related to deprivation of food and clean water.
Furthermore, the bombardment left thousands of martyrs, a significant number of whom are children and women, and the destruction of tens of thousands of civilian infrastructure, homes, cultural and historical sites, as well as many of the country's facilities required for basic survival.
For the past months, Yemen and Saudi Arabia have been engaged in direct talks to reach a potential peace agreement, after Riyadh finally realized that its years-long war on the country has failed. As part of its pressure against Sanaa to stop the oeprations, Washington resorted to threats of sabotaging the talks.
Nevertheless, Sanaa vowed that nothing will prevent it from supporting Palestine and Gaza and that it will not be intimidated or deterred by any threats, and is ready to confront any attack on the country with full force.
