Algeria denounces "lies" fabricated by Morocco’s ambassador to Geneva.
The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement, today, Tuesday, that refutes the Moroccan ambassador in Geneva's claims about the alleged support of Lebanese Hezbollah to the Polisario Front.
The Ministry's statement mentioned that the Moroccan diplomats' allegations about Hezbollah's relationship with the Polisario Front are a set of "misleading lies" that were completely refuted.
Amar Belani, Algeria's Special Envoy in charge of Western Sahara and Maghreb countries, has denounced what he called "lies" and "gross manipulation" fabricated by Morocco’s ambassador to Geneva.
He added that these allegations aim to diverge the growing international pressure about human rights violations in the desert lands.
Belani explained that Morocco's 2018 claim about Hezbollah's support for the Polisario Front was just an excuse to justify cutting ties with Iran in order to approach some Middle Eastern countries.
