Al-Nakhalah: Coexisting with the Occupiers is an "Illusion"
The Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah delivers a speech on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the movement's formation.
On the 34th anniversary of the Islamic Jihad Movement's creation, the Secretary-General of the movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah announced that the "Freedom Tunnel operation confirms that the enemy will be destroyed and that Palestine is ours."
Al-Nakhalah added that the Zionist assassins must be opposed, highlighting the efforts witnessed this year in rejection of the Israeli attempt to remove the Palestinians from Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan.
The Secretary-General alluded to the sadness of the spread of Zionism in the Arab world, warning against the slipping farther from working against terrorism to working against Islam and the civilization of the nation.
"We are more conscious of the Zionist goal," he added.
According to al-Nakhalah, the enemy is "doomed", in particular referring to the struggle to unify efforts among Arabs.
He considered that the battle of Seif al-Quds revealed the weakness of the occupation and revived the hope that victory is possible, noting that "celebrations of normalization and false peace and the opening of embassies will not change the facts of history."
Al-Nakhalah assured that in Al-Quds, the steadfastness of people in confronting the settlers will prevail, adding that the Palestinians have never been stingy in their sacrifices for the sake of the liberation of the country.
The Secretary-General emphasized the need to leave behind any illusions of a possibility of coexistence with the occupation, saluting prisoners, particularly the Gilboa Prison escape prisoners and women prisoners.
He stressed the unity of the resistance forces in Palestine and the region, and the need to protect this unity.
Regardless of the number of countries that partake in normalization, al-Nakhalah repeated his unwavering opposition to all initiatives of normalization and adherence to the resistance being the only option for liberating Palestine.
