An Israeli war on Lebanon could involve all fronts : Iran's UN mission
Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations warns that an Israeli attack on Lebanon would trigger an 'obliterating' war that could see the participation of all Resistance fronts.
Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations warned that a full-scale Israeli attack on Lebanon would lead to an "obliterating" war.
"Albeit Iran deems as psychological warfare the Zionist regime’s propaganda about intending to attack Lebanon, should it embark on full-scale military aggression, an obliterating war will ensue. All options, incl. the full involvement of all Resistance Fronts, are on the table," the mission said on X.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said on June 18 that "Israel" approved and validated "operational plans for an offensive in Lebanon".
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz later stated that "Israel" was on the brink of altering its approach towards Hezbollah and Lebanon, suggesting an attack that would severely impact Hezbollah and Lebanon.
Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on June 19, considering a possible escalation, "The possibility of invading al-Jalil remains on the table should the confrontation escalate."
Earlier this week, the Chairman of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Force General Charles Q. Brown, said to reporters in Botswana on June 24, that an Israeli wide-scale attack on Lebanon would risk an Iranian response, triggering a broader war that could put United States forces in the region in danger.
Brown stressed that the US would not likely be able to help "Israel" defend itself against a broader war with Hezbollah in Lebanon, as it did in April. He pointed to the potency of the Resistance's short-range munitions, which would be harder to intercept due to multiple factors.
'Israel' pushed into abyss
Earlier this month, on June 7, Israeli media discussed the dangers of expanding the war with Lebanon into a full-scale war, stressing it would "push Israel to the brink of the abyss, especially with the absence of international legitimacy and an exhausted army."
Military affairs analyst Amos Harel, writing for Haaretz, emphasized, "A war with Hezbollah would present an unprecedented challenge to Israel's home front, with the northern and central regions confronting a level of threat previously unseen."
Harel continued, citing "a series of discussions held over the past two weeks with officials in security and military circles," which disclosed growing signs that "Israel is heading towards a multidimensional failure."
He emphasized that "Israel" finds itself entangled in all fronts, with the most critical being "the arena of confrontation with Hezbollah in Lebanon," facing the looming threat of a full-scale war. He warned that such a war would dwarf all previous events, asserting, "Everything that occurred before would pale in comparison."
