Salah al-Buraiki, 19, was martyred after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on him as they stormed Jenin last night.

Palestinian media outlets reported that occupation forces stormed Jenin and encircled several buildings after deploying snipers on top of a number of houses. Simultaneously, confrontations erupted between Palestinian youth and the IOF who opened live fire, resulting in at least 3 injuries.

Israeli forces have recently carried out overnight raids and killings in the northern occupied West Bank, most notably in Jenin and Nablus.

A bloodier year for Palestinians

Since October 11, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Nablus have been trapped in the Shuafat refugee camp and towns within the vicinities.

The blockade has impeded many Palestinians from receiving the necessary health treatments in addition to basic ingredients such as flour. Education within the refugee camp, also, has been suspended because of the blockade.

On Wednesday night, the Palestinian who carried out the Shuafat checkpoint operation against the IOF, Uday Al-Tamimi, was killed by the Israeli occupation.

The Shuafat refugee camp has witnessed confrontations between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces, which stormed the Shuafat camp following a shooting operation that led to the killing of an Israeli occupation soldier and the injury of two others at the Shuafat checkpoint.

The IOF have murdered at least 175 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip since the beginning of the year, including 51 Palestinians during “Israel's” latest aggression on Gaza in August.
