Aqabat Jaber Battalion opened fire at numerous Israeli checkpoints
Al-Quds Brigades - Aqabat Jaber Battalion says its freedom fighters opened fire at several Israeli checkpoints in Aqabat Jaber camp.
The freedom fighters of the Aqabat Jaber Battalion, a faction within Al-Quds Brigades, opened fire toward several military checkpoints in the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, inflicting material damage on the sites, the faction said on Saturday.
"We carry on with our struggle, as our arms will be brandished on every battlefield," the battalion added.
A few days ago and in light of the confrontations that were taking the Jenin refugee camp by storm, Al-Quds Brigades - Aqabat Jaber Battalion declared that "our freedom fighters managed at dawn today to open fire at the DCO checkpoint in response to the occupation's aggression against Jenin."
Moreover, Israeli media reported on Thursday that an Israeli occupation soldier was killed and another was injured in a shooting operation near the illegal settlement of "Kedumim" in the northern occupied West Bank.
The media confirmed that the Palestinian who carried out the operation was killed at the entrance to the illegal settlement.
"Al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Brigade executed a number of strikes and deadly ambushes against the occupation forces during the battle," the Jenin Brigade said in light of ongoing battles in the city.
The group added that a special unit of the Brigade ambushed IOF ground troops in the Al-Damaj neighborhood scoring casualties among the invading force's lines.
According to Israeli news websites, occupation forces had stopped a vehicle for inspection before its driver opened fire and fled the scene on foot. Later, Israeli occupation forces chased the shooter and shot him dead.
"Israel's" public broadcaster cited occupation security sources as saying that the shooter opened fire from point-blank while his car was being searched near Qalqilya.
Later, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, claimed responsibility for the operation, identifying the Palestinian youth who carried out the operation as Ahmad Yassin Ghaidhan.
The Brigades promised the occupation with more acts of resistance, underlining that whoever sows murder and crime against the Palestinian people will reap nothing but defeat.
The Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the city of Jenin and its camp after launching an aggression that left 12 Palestinian martyrs and dozens of injuries. The Israeli aggression was heroically confronted by Palestinian Resistance fighters who carried out a number of deadly strikes and ambushes for occupation forces as part of a battle dubbed The Fury of Jenin.
Israeli media reported Tuesday that a Palestinian youth was martyred after carrying out a ramming operation in "Tel Aviv" that left at least seven illegal Israeli settlers injured, including four seriously.
