Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is bringing “ruin and unprecedented isolation” to “Israel,” saying the regime has never been more reviled in the region and worldwide.
In a post on X on Sunday, Araghchi condemned Netanyahu’s policies, holding him responsible for committing genocide against Palestinians while attempting to link those crimes to Judaism.
"Despite his claims of victory, Netanyahu has brought ruin and unprecedented isolation to Israel. The criminal Israeli regime has never been more reviled in our region and around the world," Araghchi wrote.
"Repugnantly, he is tarnishing the image of all Jews and Judaism by committing genocide of Palestinians in their name."

The Iranian diplomat praised Jewish voices who have spoken out against Netanyahu’s actions, saying they reject the exploitation of their faith to justify crimes.
"It is touching that a rising number of Jews are loudly speaking up against this abuse of their faith, demanding an end to the monopolization and tainting of Judaism by wanted war criminals," he added.
"The world should support them in their effort to stop Netanyahu's attempt to conflate a divine religion with a sordid ideology of death built on racism and displacement."
On the occasion of the Jewish New Year, Araghchi extended greetings to Iranian Jews and to all followers of Judaism who embrace peace. "L’shana tova," he wrote, sharing a photo of the Yousef-Abad Synagogue in Tehran.
The post, which has drawn thousands of views and replies, comes amid heightened tensions following the ongoing war on Gaza and increasing international criticism of “Israel’s” actions.
Israeli opposition figures band together to plot post-Netanyahu rule
Leaders of "Israel’s" opposition parties announced the creation of a joint forum designed to coordinate political strategy against the ruling coalition and outline a framework for a future government, Anadolu reported.
The initiative follows a meeting between opposition leader Yair Lapid, Yisrael Beiteinu chief Avigdor Lieberman, and fellow opposition figures Gadi Eisenkot and Yair Golan.
In a joint statement, the Israeli opposition figures said the Party Leaders Forum will serve as a permanent body, with its next session scheduled immediately after 'Yom Kippur", which begins on the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 1, and ends on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 2.
The forum will establish a committee tasked with drafting core principles for a prospective government. These include a new constitution, universal service obligations, and protections for "Israel’s" identity as a “Jewish, democratic and Zionist” state.
Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Blue and White leader Benny Gantz are expected to join the next meeting. The opposition emphasized that the forum’s goal is to “tighten the ranks within the opposition in preparation for the next political phase.”
