Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed that Iran "remains committed to its principled policy of supporting the Palestinian cause, al-Quds, and providing comprehensive backing to the Resistance in the region against Israeli occupation."

During a meeting with the secretaries-general and leaders of Palestinian Resistance factions at the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Araghchi emphasized that the Resistance factions and the Palestinian people are "determined to continue their steadfastness in the face of the Israeli enemy."

Regarding the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon, following an Israeli attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, Araghchi stated that "the martyrdom of Sayyed Nasrallah will further stabilize and strengthen the Resistance."

The Iranian minister also expressed confidence that "the blood of the martyr of al-Quds and Palestine, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, alongside the blood of other Resistance martyrs in Palestine and Lebanon, will fortify the Resistance and lead to the ultimate victory over the Israeli enemy."

Leaders of the Resistance factions commended Iran’s legitimate and defensive operations against the assaults carried out by the Israeli occupation, in reference to Operation True Promise 1 and 2.

Earlier today, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad received Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Damascus. They discussed efforts to halt Israeli aggression on Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, as well as the importance of providing support and assistance to the Lebanese people in light of the large-scale displacement caused by Israeli attacks.
