Assassination of IRGC advisors to not go unanswered: Iran MFA
Today the Iranian FM released a statement condemning the Israeli assassination of two IRGC advisors in Syria on March 31.
Today the Iranian foreign ministry released a statement condemning the Israeli assassination of two IRGC officers in Syria on March 31; in which the spokesperson Nasser Kanaani revered the martyrdom of two Iranian officers, offered condolences to their families, and promised retaliation against Israel’s aggressive and criminal measures.

Nasser described the martyrdom of the two officers as "part of the price the Iranian nation is being forced to pay for the noble and courageous fight against terrorists and their notorious sponsors, which include the Zionist regime".
"The persistence of the attacks by the Zionist regime against Syria is a blatant violation of the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and the violation of international law," he said adding that the attacks effectively serve as efforts to "strengthen terrorism".

He emphasized that the blood of the two honorable martyrs have not been shed in vain.
In addition to taking the necessary legal and political pursuits against the aggressive criminal Israeli measures, he warned that Iran "reserves the right to respond against the Zionist regime's state-sponsored terrorism in due time and place".
Iran news agencies reported on Sunday that a second IRGC military advisor succumbed to his injuries today following an aggression waged by "Israel" on Syria on March 31.
"Meghdad Mehghani had been wounded during the Zionist attack on Friday dawn and was martyred," Iran’s IRIB News reported.
This comes after another IRGC advisor, Milad Heidari, was declared martyred after succumbing to injuries in the same aggression that took Meghdad's life.
The IRGC vowed retaliation saying "the Zionist regime will surely receive a response to its crime."

After the recent Israeli strikes, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Friday affirmed that the repeated Israeli aggressions on Syria show the close coordination between the Israeli occupation and terrorist groups to prolong the crisis.
In a tweet, the Ministry underlined that "Israel" continues to practice its criminal war policies against Syria, as its planes committed new aggression in coordination with the terrorist groups that launched an attack against the Syrian forces in the Al-Dana area in Idlib province.
The Syrian Defense Ministry confirmed that Syrian Army units repelled a terrorist attack on Thursday in the Basratoun direction in Aleppo's western countryside, killing several terrorists and wounding others. It added that the Army also repelled another attack in the town of Al-Dana near Ma’arat Al-Numan in Idlib countryside.
