The decision was made as a result of a top official meeting on September 14 in Brussels.
Azerbaijan said on Sunday that it had released ten more Armenian soldiers who had been captured during last month's fighting.
The Azeri committee in charge of prisoners of war said in a statement that "Azerbaijan, with the mediation of the European Union, handed over 10 soldiers of Armenian origin" who had been captured on November 16.
The decision was made as a result of a meeting between Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and European Council President Charles Michel on September 14 in Brussels.

A ceasefire agreement
The Armenian Defense Ministry had announced reaching a ceasefire agreement, with Russia's mediation, at the country's eastern border with Azerbaijan in mid-November after about 3 days of border tension between the two.
Clashes between the two armies had renewed on the border in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which resulted in the death of 15 Armenian soldiers.
Following Russia-mediated talks, Azerbaijan handed over 10 prisoners to Yerevan on December 4, the first concrete sign of a decrease in tensions since last month's fighting, which killed 13 people.
Since last year's war, both Armenia and Azerbaijan have reported occasional exchanges of fire.
