Bagheri: Iran Negotiates with P4+1, Not Washington
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Bagheri says he saw progress in talks with European Union mediator Enrique Mora.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri said he has been involved in “very serious and constructive dialogue” with Enrique Mora, the European Union’s deputy secretary-general for political affairs, “on the essential elements for successful negotiations".
"We agreed to start negotiations before the end of November. The exact date would be announced in the course of the next week," he tweeted.

On a visit to Brussels, the top Iranian negotiator also touched on the unjust sanctions imposed on the Iranian people.
Furthermore, Bagheri considered news reported by Reuters regarding the resumption of negotiations with the "5 + 1" group an “espièglerie”, stressing "our negotiations are with the "4 + 1" group, and the ground has not been prepared for Americans to return to the nuclear deal."
The top Iranian negotiator stated Wednesday that the Vienna talks will resume by the end of November.
On Oct. 23, Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amirabdollahian revealed, during a meeting with the new Secretary-General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Khusrav Noziri, that reviving Iran's nuclear deal with the 4+1 Group "will resume soon".
Recently, a senior US official has stated that the US hopes to resume nuclear talks with Iran soon.
"We're hopeful we can be back in Vienna (for talks)... in a fairly short period of time," the senior administration official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told reporters.
In the same context, the Iranian Foreign Ministry has announced that Iran will soon be rejoining the talks before November, after their suspension last June.
Six rounds of talks were held between Iran and international powers, including France, in Vienna during the period between April and June, in an attempt to revive the nuclear agreement.
