Battle to witness comprehensive shift, PIJ's Abu Hamza pledges
The spokesperson of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's Al-Quds Brigades underlines that the battle will see shifts in the upcoming period as he promises more losses for the Israeli occupation.
The Resistance, led by Al-Qassam Brigades and Al-Quds Brigades, the military wings of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, respectively, continues to bring upon honor and garner new achievements on the path to victory, Al-Quds Brigades spokesperson Abu Hamza said Monday.
"The resistance stands tall with its fighters, who still have their fingers on the trigger in the field," he said. "Our forces, alongside resistance factions, continue to demonstrate their bravery on the ground by countering the futile ground maneuvers carried out by the enemy's forces."
"The enemy's attempts aim to restore confidence in the Gaza Division, which was a primary target of Al-Aqsa Flood," he said. "The enemy is painting false pictures of advancement attempts, the true intentions of which we are fully aware of."
Abu Hamza addressed the Israeli occupation forces, saying: "O, army of defeats, and the caravans of rats heading towards Gaza, inform [Security Minister] Yoav Galant and [Chief of Staff] Herzi Halevi about what happened to you west of Beit Lahia, east of Khan Yunis, and Beit Hanoun."
"Inform them about what happened to you in the Zeitoun neighborhood today and how you were lured into death traps and fields of terror like fools," he added.
"We persist in our battle, along with our steadfast people who continue to sing through their blood the noblest songs of sacrifice on the path to their freedom," the spokesperson said.
He pointed out the developments in "the facade of the false Zionist entity, which seems in appearance to be a solid front, but the facts reveal that the repercussions of the Al-Aqsa Flood are becoming evident through the weight of accusations and the finger-pointing in regard to failures.
"The battle, on the strategic level, will witness shifts in all aspects and directions in favor of the resistance and the goal of liberating all of Palestine," Abu Hamza pledged.
"Several captives in our custody have passed away and are now counted among the dead" due to the continuous bombardment of the Gaza Strip, the Resistance spokesperson said.
He emphasized that "this is a stage of confrontation with the enemy," affirming that the resistance would not allow the Israeli occupation to "exploit negotiations to achieve some of its field objectives in our territory."
Abu Hamza insisted that "the enemy must stop its dithering policy," for "every passing minute poses a danger to the lives of Zionist captives due to the indiscriminate and savage bombardment."
He also sent a message to the families of Israeli captives, saying: "Your leadership is risking the lives of your children at the expense of time in an attempt to kill them and extinguish their lives, as they avoid paying the price."
Israeli media reported today that representatives of the families of Israeli captives in Gaza requested, following their meeting with Israeli occupation's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, an "all-for-all deal", i.e., a prisoner exchange deal involving all Palestinian prisoners in exchange for all captives the Resistance is holding.
Israeli media quoted Mireav Leshem Gonan, the spokesperson for the captive families, as saying, "We asked Netanyahu not to carry out any operation that puts the fate of the captives at risk."
Gonan described the meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister, which lasted two hours, as a very intense meeting where strong and clear statements were made by the family representatives, with an emphatic request that operations take into account the fate of the captives, stressing that the responsibility for such an operation falls on the Israeli government.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu claimed that "Israel" will pursue "all available options" to secure the release of over 220 captives amid the ongoing bombing of Gaza.
In response to growing concerns about the fate of the captives during "Israel's expansion of ground operation in Gaza," Netanyahu agreed to meet with representatives of the families who were seeking information on the government's approach. While Netanyahu did not commit to a specific exchange deal, he claimed to the families that authorities would make every effort to bring the captives home.
Earlier, relatives of some of the 229 Israeli captives in Gaza staged a protest and urgently appealed for a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Security Minister Yoav Gallant, and other members of the war cabinet.
This request comes as "Israel" carried out deliberate strikes that disrupted communication networks in Gaza, while occupation forces declared an "expansion" of ground incursions into the Strip.
Israeli media reported that protesters demanding the release of captives and the dismissal of Netanyahu blocked a road near the Ministry of Security in "Tel Aviv".
The families expressed concern for the safety of their family members as the Israeli war machine launched an unprecedented bombing of the Strip last night, which they described as "the most terrible of all nights."
