Blinken touring Middle East like salesman: Iran Security Minister
Iran's Minister of Security says that Antony Blinken is attempting to secure a ceasefire in Gaza that would allow "Israel" to save face.
US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, is touring the region like a salesman in an effort to maintain a semblance of credibility for the Zionist entity, the Iranian Minister of Security, Esmaeil Khatib, stated.
"Blinken is seeking to secure a ceasefire in Gaza in a way that allows the Zionist entity to save face."
Khatib pointed to "Israel's" initial high hopes of triumphing over the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza, highlighting the fact that it is "now, on the verge of agreeing to a ceasefire in exchange for the release of its prisoners."
On Friday Blinken said, "Far too many Palestinians have been killed; far too many have suffered these past weeks," as he wrapped up a nine-day tour of the Middle East and Asia.
The admission comes after officials working under the Biden administration failed to address "Israel's" bombing and killing of children, to the point where the US President questioned the validity of the mounting death tolls published by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

"Too many" Palestinians are dying
Even though Blinken admitted that "too many Palestinians have been killed," he did not condemn Israeli war crimes or discuss any action intended to limit such atrocities.
After Blinken finalized his tour of the Middle East earlier this week, Bloomberg said his efforts "brought little visible progress" on a temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The US-based media outlet said that Blinken's meetings brought to light a "clear disregard for the US position," in Israeli circles.

Trip to Iraq highlights US foreign policy failure
His trip to Baghdad was succeeded by a meeting between Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, and Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi.
During a joint press conference with the Iranian President, al-Sudani stressed that those who want "to contain the conflict" should pressure the occupation to end its aggression and its systemic killing of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Raisi noted that the US claim about working for a ceasefire in Gaza is false as proven by its actions, while "Israel" continues to collapse as it is defeated by the Palestinian Resistance.
He added that the US is aiming to brush this shame under the rug by helping "Israel" commit genocide supported by European nations.
"We cooperate and support any action by Islamic countries, at the regional and international level, to prevent the Zionist regime and the American governing body from killing the innocent, oppressed people of Gaza," he said.
