China slams Biden for his 'enormous problems' comments
This comes as the White House Strategic Communications Coordinator said the US President will continue to make "candid" comments on foreign leaders.
China slammed US President Joe Biden's comments when he said that Beijing faces "enormous problems".
"We hope that the US will be able to focus on solving its own internal problems and play a constructive role in ensuring stability and prosperity in the world," Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning stated at a daily briefing.
Mao said any country could face some challenges in sustaining its growth, however, she assured the press that through unity and hard work under the guidance of the Communist Party, China will be able to surpass these obstacles.
Biden made these remarks during a White House press pool on Tuesday shortly after calling President Xi Jinping a "dictator" and refusing to apologize for his comments.

White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said on June 22 that the US President will continue to make "candid" comments on foreign leaders, as the Biden administration attempted to downplay the effects of Joe Biden's outrageous statements.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry stressed that the US President's comments are extremely "absurd" and "irresponsible" as his remarks came just after his Secretary of State concluded a trip to China in hopes to restore ties with Beijing.
The Chinese Embassy in Washington warned that the US would "bear all the consequences" if it does not take steps to make up for Biden's "political provocation."
