Colombia halts coal exports to 'Israel' in protest against genocide
This comes shortly after images of today's massacre at Nusseirat refugee camp circulated across social media platforms.
Colombia's President Gustavo Petro announced on Saturday the suspension of coal exports to "Israel."
In a social media post, he stated that exports would cease "until the genocide is stopped."

This comes shortly after images of today's massacre at the Nuseirat refugee camp circulated across social media platforms.
At least 210 are reported to have been killed as a result of heavy Israeli indiscriminate bombardment.
According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, the affected buildings are all residential infrastructure and the majority of those killed are women and children.
The current death toll has now reached 36,801 and the number of injured 83,680, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced Saturday.
It is also reported that the Israeli army committed a total of five massacres across different neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip, killing 70 Palestinians and injuring 150 in the past 24 hours.

Gaza crimes parallel those against Jews in Europe
Last month on May 12, Gustavo Petro said that history will remember Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a perpetrator of genocide.
Addressing Netanyahu, Petro added that bombing thousands of innocent children, women, and the elderly doesn't make you a hero but rather places you alongside those who killed millions of Jews in Europe.
The Colombian president emphasized that "genocide is still genocide" regardless of religion, urging Netanyahu to make an effort to put an end to the massacres, "at the very least."
Petro's statements were in response to Netanyahu's remarks earlier when he said that "Israel will not accept lectures from an 'anti-Semite' and supporter of the Hamas movement."
