Communication cut in Gaza, no information on the Strip's North
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reports that transmission stations have run out of fuel and that all means of communication have been cut off in the entire Strip.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported at dawn on Friday that information regarding the events in the northern Gaza Strip was not available after all means of communication were cut.
Our correspondent added, "The transmission stations in Gaza have depleted their fuel supply, leading to a complete disruption of communications and internet throughout the entire Strip."
Communication services in the Gaza Strip came to a complete halt after the entry of fuel into the Strip was blocked by the Israeli occupation. This information was verified by both the United Nations and the two telecommunications operators. Meanwhile, Human Rights Watch issued a warning about potentially "deadly" repercussions.
The two primary telecommunications companies in the sector, Paltel and Jawwal, stated in a press release on Thursday that all services were disrupted due to the prevention of fuel entry, and all backup energy sources required to operate the main network were depleted.
The occupation has blocked the entry of fuel into the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza. Amid the cut of communication, the IOF uses the blackout to commit the most heinous atrocities, without the world watching them.
Three days ago, Andrea De Domenico, Head of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, stated that the United Nations team lacks the required fuel for trucks and forklifts essential in unloading and delivering humanitarian aid in Gaza.
"The trucks that will arrive starting from tomorrow - we will not simply be able to unload them because you know, we don't have the fuel for the forklift. And we do not have the fuel for the trucks that are distributing that assistance out to where the people in need are," Domenico said in a briefing to journalists.
He added that the humanitarian pauses declared by "Israel" were carried out solely by the IOF, primarily as a means to evacuate the Northern area under relatively safe conditions.
Earlier this week, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces have committed yet another massacre, killing 12 Palestinians and injuring dozens in an airstrike on two houses in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza.
Our correspondent also reported that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire on civilians in Gaza City, where ground incursions are taking place. He also documented a chilling incident in which the IOF intentionally shot a Palestinian woman holding a white flag, attached her body to their tank, and dragged it behind.
Numerous Palestinians killed in an Israeli massacre in Jabalia, located in the northern Gaza Strip, were taken to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, as per our correspondent. He further emphasized that the occupation committed such atrocities amid a communications blackout and an alarming international silence.
